Areca sp.

Kon Tum Province, Kon Plong District, Mang Den Town area, remnants of humid primary evergreen broad-leaved and mixed forest (with Pinus dalatensis, Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) on very steep mountain slopes composed with granite and silicate shale at elevation of about 1200 m a.s.l. Miniature palm 0.5-1.5 m tall, fruits light yellow. Locally common.
