Khanh Hoa Provinces, road to Khanh Le Pass, east slope of Hon Giao Ridge, dry evergreen broad-leaved forest on granite at elevation 600-700 m a.s.l. Lithophytic herb on steep rocky slope of small stream. Locally common. Flower buds dark violet. 21 April 2025, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Van Canh, T. Maisak, AL3902.
