Pinus petrophila Aver. et al. sp. nov. (P. dalatensis aff.).

Quang Nam Prov., Dai Loc Distr., Dai Hong municipality, environs of Dai Hong town around point 15°49’19”N 107°56’58”E. Remnants of primary broadleaved evergreen forest on sandstone mountain towered above rocky sandy uplifted plateau composed with eroded sandstone at elev. about 600 m a.s.l. Tree 10-15 m tall on rocky mountain top. Rare.
