Binh Dinh Province, Van Canh District, Canh Lien Municipality. Fractionally logged dense dry primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep mountain slopes composed by granite with quartzite at elevation 250-350 m a.s.l. Erect terrestrial herb to 1.4 m tall among secondary shrubs on steep wet rocky stream slope along road. Locally common.
