Secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest with bamboo on very steep river slopes composed by shaly limestone at elevation 60–160 m a.s.l. around point 17º4’29’’N 106º43’5’’E. Climbing shrub with shoots to 3 m long in open shrubs along road cut. Inflorescence leaves green. Flowers yellow. Common.
