Polypodiaceae s.l.

Cibotium barometz (L.) J.Sm.

Quang Binh Province, Le Thuy District, Kim Thuy Municipality. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest with bamboo on very steep river slopes composed by shaly limestone at elevation about 100 m a.s.l. around point 17º4’29’’N 106º43’5’’E.

Woody fern with erect stem to 0.5 m tall and fronds to 2 m long on rocky stream slope. Locally common.
