Quang Binh Province, Le Thuy District, Kim Thuy Municipality. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest with bamboo on very steep river slopes composed by shaly limestone at elevation about 60 m a.s.l. around point 17º4’29’’N 106º43’5’’E.

Erect palm to 1.5 m tall in open wet sandy place along river. Not common.
