Khanh Hoa Province, Cam Lam District, Hon Ba Nature Reserve. Secondary evergreen, broad-leaved dry forest on granite along rocky stream at elevation about 300 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on tall trees along stream. Common. 24 February 2023, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Van Canh, AL 2139. Living plants only.

Flowered in culture 21 December 2024. Flowers yellow with reddish marks. L.Averyanov AL2139.
