Quang Binh Province, Le Thuy District, Kim Thuy Municipality. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest with bamboo on very steep river slopes composed by shaly limestone at elevation 60–160 m a.s.l. around point 17º4’29’’N 106º43’5’’E. Terrestrial herb with creeping rhizome supported by many stilt roots. Leaves long petiolate with ellipsoid to broadly ellipsoid leaf blade. Fruits globular, pale gray brownish, cowered by small bark like particles. Locally very common.
