Bac Kan Province, Ba Be District, Cao Thuong Community, Ba Be National Park. Primary and old secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky slopes composed by white crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone around point 22º27’20’’N 105º36’06’E at elevation of about 750 m a.s.l. Lithophytic herb on shady mossy vertical cliff. Flowers white to light pink, anthers and stigmas yellow. Leaves in young plants pale pink brown with white spots, leaves on flowering plants pure light green. Not rare.
