Primary and old secondary broad-leaved evergreen humid forest on very steep rocky slopes on solid, marble-like highly eroded limestone at elevation 900–1200 m a.s.l. on steep rocky slope.
Terrestrial rosulate herb on shady rocky slope. Flowers black. Common.
