Primary and old secondary broad-leaved evergreen humid forest on very steep rocky slopes on solid, marble-like highly eroded limestone at elevation 900–1200 m a.s.l. on steep rocky slope.

Lithophytic and terrestrial shrub 1.5 tall on open mossy, rocky mountain top. Flowers white with pink tint. Occasional.
