Bac Kan Province, Ba Be District, Cao Thuong Community, Ba Be National Park. Old secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest and scrub on very steep rocky slope composed by white crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone above tall cliff around point 22º27’36’’N 105º39’18’E at elevation of about 300 m a.s.l. Herbaceous vine to 5 m long with globular tuber 20-25 cm in diam., among scrub on rocky, mossy, steep rather open slope. Fruits light green. Not rare.
