Bac Kan Province, Ba Be District, Cao Thuong Community, Ba Be National Park. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep rocky slope composed by white crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone around point 22º27’36’’N 105º39’18’E at elevation of about 250 m a.s.l. Tree 10-12 m tall on open slope along road. Flowers white. Not common.
