Xyridaceae

Xyris grandis Ridl.

Border of Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa provinces, Khan Le Pass, primary mixed montane forest with Pinus krempfii, Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus on shale at elevation of about 1600 m a.s.l. Lithophytic herb on shady wet stream rocks. Flowers bright yellow. Locally common.
