Primary and old secondary broad-leaved evergreen humid forest on very steep rocky slopes on solid, marble-like highly eroded limestone at elevation 900–1200 m a.s.l. on steep rocky slope. Clustering epiphyte on mossy tree on rocky mountain top. Flowers light purple violet. Occasional.
