Old secondary broad-leaved evergreen humid forest on wet very steep alluvial slopes based on solid, marble-like highly eroded limestone at elevation of 600–800 m a.s.l. Treelet 3–4 m tall on rocky steep slope. Flowers pink purple. Occasional.
