Bac Kan Province, Ba Be District, Cao Thuong Community, Ba Be National Park. Dry secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep rocky slope composed by white crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone around point 22º27’42’’N 105º34’41’E at elevation of 700–800 m a.s.l. Lithophytic palm-like plant with erect stem to 0.5 m tall and leaves to 2.5 m long on shelves of very steep rocky slope along rocky ridge edge. Locally very common. Male specimen.
