Bac Kan Province, Ba Be District, Cao Thuong Community, Ba Be National Park. Old secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest and scrub on very steep rocky slope composed by white crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone above tall cliff around point 22º27’36’’N 105º39’18’E at elevation of about 300 m a.s.l. Lithophytic caudex palm-like plant with erect stem to 0.5 m tall on rather open mossy rocky steep slope. Locally common. Male specimen. Cone fusiform, 35–40 cm long, 5–6 cm in diameter.
