Bac Kan Province, Ba Be District, Cao Thuong Community, Ba Be National Park. Old secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest and scrub on very steep rocky slope composed by white crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone above tall cliff around point 22º27’36’’N 105º39’18’E at elevation of about 300 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb with underground rhizome in shady valley between limestone hills. Leaves dark green, uniform green, or occasionally with dull yellowish marks. Flowers dark purple. Locally common.
