Plants of Yok Don NP and adjacent areas

Acanthaceae

Phlogacanthus pulcherrimus T.Anderson

Vietnam, Dak Lak Prov., Buon Don Distr., Krong Na municipality, Yok Don NP, Yok Don Ridge around point 12º51’12”N 107º41’18”E. Primary dry evergreen forest on thin gray soils derived from sandstone with quartzite dykes along ridge edge at elevation 300-350 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb up to 1.5 m tall. Flowers dark brown. Common.
