km to NWW from Cao Bang town. Primary open coniferous mossy forest (with Pseudotsuga brevifolia in 1 stratum) along tops of limestone karst remnant ridge at 1400-1450 m alt. Tree up to 8 m hg (no milky juice). Not common.
