S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14ш39'N, 108ш25'E). Primary degraded (by logging) broad-leaved evergreen mountain forest with Dacrycarpus and Dacrydium on sandstone slopes at elev. 1100-1200 m. Yellowish-white ground root parasite (on Castanopsis?) in shady place. Very rare.
