Dendrobium thinhii Aver., sp. nov.

Kon Tum prov., Ngoc Linh mountain, mountain evergreen forest at elevation about 1700 m a.s.l. Collected by Mr. Do Phu Thinh in 2015. Flowered in March - April. Flowers white with light greenish tint, petals with 1 median dirty violet stripe; lip with dirty violet margin. 28 April 2015 AL 034 2 living plants. Coll.: L.Averyanov, T.Maisak, Nong Van Duy (collected in garden of Mr. Do Phu Thinh).

Fl. in 24 June 2015. Flowers white, with strong very pleasant fragrance; petals with violet margin and violet median stripe; lip violet along margin, with yellow-brown hairy spot in the center and green glabrous glossy callus in hypochile, hypochile and side lobes inside with thick dense mealy deposits of white pseudopollen grains; column and column foot olive-green, column apex and anther white; pollinia yellow.
