Bulbophyllum funingense Tsi et H.C.Chen,

1982, Bull.Bot.Res., 1, 1-2 : 112. Type: "Yunnan: Funing, alt. 1000 m

22 Apr. 1940, in saxo C.W.Wang 88792".

N. Vietnam, Hoa Binh prov., Mai Chau distr., Hang Kia municipality,

near Pa Khong village, (20º44'40''N, 104º52'32''E). Primary

broad-leaved evergreen dry forest with Pinus kwangtungensis along tops

of highly eroded remnant karst limestone ridge at elev. 1300-1440 m

a.s.l. Epiphyte and lithophyte. Flowers yellow with brown stripes, lip

yellow with purple center. Unpleasant not fresh fish smelled. Not

common.
