Laos, Vientiane prov., Vang Vieng district, close vicinities of Vang Vien town, Phu Ngeum Mt., secondary degraded evergreen forest on steep rocky slopes and cliffs composed with karstic highly eroded marble-like limestone at elevation at 350-500 m a.s.l. Creeping epiphyte on mossy gnarled tree on mountain top. Very common. AL 196 (1 living plant). 13 December 2015, L.Averyanov, T.Maisak, M.Nuraliev, N.Vislobokov.
Flowered in 15 September 2018. Sepals and petals lemon-yellow, lip white with dark purple apex and side lobes. Photos L. Averyanov.
