S.Vietnam, Ninh Thuan Prov., Ninh Hai Distr., Vinh Hai Municipality, NE slopes on Nui Chua mountains to SW of point 11o43′52′'N 109o08′35′'E at elev. about 800-950 m a.s.l. Primary evergreen closed dry forest on rocky mountain slopes composed with granite. Epiphyte. Flowers very fragrant (Viola odorata), tepals pure white, lip white with light lemon-yellow central keels. Not common. HLF 4377 30 March 2004 Photo Coll.
