Vietnam, Quang Tri Prov., Huong Hoa Distr., Huong Phung Municipality, Sa Mui pass, around point 16°47′42″N 106°35′50″E at elevation about 1000 m a.s.l. Secondary broad-leaved evergreen submontane forest on shale mountains. Terrestrial achlorophyllous olive-brownish to nearly black saprophyte on rocky shady stream slope with bamboo.
