Epigeneium chapaense Gagnep.

Lao Cai, Van Ban District; Liem Phu Municipality; Khuoi Ngoa Village. Collections on ridges just west of village.
21°59'31"N 104°19'05"E 323 - 1050 m, Epiphytic, on tall tree, common. Pseudobulb green, shiny; becoming wrinkled; leaves dark green with some red tint.
