Hill Laos, Khammoune prov., Boualapa distr., Langkhang village, steep southern slopes of sandstone ridge allied to the road from the north between points 17°34'02.2"N 105°42'42.6"E, 200 m and 17°34'51.1"N 105°43'01.2"E, 535 m a.s.l. Primary lowland semideciduous and evergreen dry forest on very steep rocky slopes. Palm-like plant with caudex underground stem 15-20 cm long and about 10 cm in diameter on very steep rocky slope.
