Ha Giang province, Quan Ba district, Tung Vai commune, Thang village. Remnant primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on slopes of limestone mountains, around point 23.05186° N 104.86735° E, at elevation of 1000-1100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb about 70-100 cm tall, inflorescence and leave base dark purple to purple, flower at first green then turning greenish yellow to yellow during the anthesis, sepals green at base and greenish yellow at apex, filament white, anther yellow, locally common.
