Vietnam, Nghe An Prov., Tuong Duong Distr., Tam Hop Municipality, Pa Lom village, around point 19º05’07’’N 104º20’55’’E at elevation 1300-1350 m a.s.l. Submontane primary evergreen closed forest on very steep mountain slopes composed with stratified solid shale. Terrestrial herb up to 2 m tall on very steep rocky shady mountain slope along forest stream. Flowers white, dark bright purple inside tube. Locally very common.
