Thua Thien – Hue Prov., Nam Dong Distr., Thuong Lo Municipality, along Cha Mang stream, around point 16°06’26’’N 107°44’40’’E. Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest on very steep hill slopes composed with stratified shale and sandstone at elev. 100-150 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on steep rocky shady mossy wet stream slope along water line. Spathe dirty brown. Not common.
