FLORA OF VIETNAM

Araceae

Arisaema sp.

N. Vietnam, Hoa Binh prov., Mai Chau distr., Hang Kia municipality, near Pa Khong village, (20º44'40''N, 104º52'32''E). Primary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest with Pinus kwangtungensis along tops of highly eroded remnant karst limestone ridge at elev. 1300-1440 m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophyte herb up to 1.2 m hg on rocky steep slope. Spathe deep chestnut with green stripes, apical part of inflorescence - green, flowers dirty violet-brown. Petiole and inflorescence stalk green-whitish-brown tesselated. Common.
