Inflorescence 5-7 cm long, densiflore, sepals and petals purple, label yellowish, orange at top. Cultivated from plant collected nearby, in primary closed evergreen tropical seasonal broad-leaved lowland forest. Coll. P.K.Loc, H.V.Tuan & V.V.Duc, P-8837. 1 V 2000.
