Aspidistra species originating from A Botanical Garden in China, growing under the name of A. attenuata, a species that I am very familiar with. The perianth appears to be similar in shape to A. cleistantha, but the pistil is a shape I have not seen before.
Khang Sinh Nguyen:
I think this species is a new one. It is totally different from A. attenuata on its perianth tube and lobe, and specially on pistil. Its pistil is really special and can not be found in other species, and oblong anther is also a good character to distinguish from other species. its lobes are similar to some chinese and vietnamese species with long lobes, such as A. longgangensis, A. hezhouensis, A. superba, A. melanaster. I think it perhaps closes to A. australis and A. chishuiensis from China.
