Cao Bang Province, Bao Lam District, Vinh Quang Municipality, about 21 km N of Cao Bang Town; 22°51′N 106°14′E, 785 m a.s.l. growing in evergreen primary very steep forest in limestone rubble adjacent to grazed agricultural land, plants with fading flowers at time of collection, 29.11.2018, Bleddyn Wynn-Jones, BWJ 16149.
A. extrorsa were growing close to each other. I also found A. tenuifolia growing close by.
