Bac Kan Province, Ba Be District, Ba Be National Park. Evergreen broad-leaved old secondary forest with domination of Burretiodendron hsienmu, Streblus asper and Arenga pinnata on crystalline highly eroded rocky limestone near the boat station at elevation 250-300 m a.s.l. Herbaceous vine 5–6 m long in open place on steep rocky slope. Flowers reddish brown. Not common.
