Vanilla aphylla Blume

S.Vietnam, Ninh Thuan Prov., Ninh Hai Distr., Vinh Hai Municipality, Cau Gay village, around point 11o43'38''N 109o11'25''E at elev. about 50 m a.s.l. Open secondary forest and shrubs on dry rocky slopes of low hills composed with granite along stream. Succulent aphyllous lithophytic and epiphytic creeping vine up to 8 m long among semidesert xerophytic shrubs on rocky stream slope. Rare.
