Lam Dong Province, Bao Lam District, B 40 Pass, around point N11.4366 E107.4266. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on granite at elevation 800–900 m a.s.l. Giant herb to 3 m tall on steep stream slope. Flowers bright red. Locally common.
