Primary semideciduous and evergreen broad-leaved dry forest at elev. 250-350 m a.s.l. Deciduous tree 20-30 m tall and to 1 m DBH, bark almost white. Very common, main co-dominant of the first canopy stratum at 200-400 m a.s.l. Sprouts from tree cut. 6 May 2018, L. Averyanov, Khang Sinh Nguyen, T.
