Lao Cai Prov., Sa Pa Distr., slopes of Hoang Lien Son Range in vicinities of Sa Pa town.
Evergreen broad-leaved montane forest on very steep mountain slopes at elevation about 1500-1800 m a.s.l.
Epiphyte on tall mossy trees. Flowers sweet fragrant, white to light yellowish, lip with olive-green center, tip of mentum olive-greenish, column white. Rare. HAL 11132 24 Apr. 2007. Photo. Coll.: L.Averyanov, P.K.Loc, A.Averyanova.
