Dry broad-leaved primary and secondary evergreen forest on very steep rocky slopes and on vertical cliffs of remnant highly eroded rocky limestone mountains composed by solid crystalline limestone at elevation 300-900 m. Tree 5 m tall, 10 cm DBH on rocky top of mountain at elevation 800-900 m. Syconia orange to orange-red. Common.
