Quang Nam province, Hoi An city, Tan Hiep municipality, Cu Lao Cham islands, primarily dry semi-evergreen broad-leaved forests on sandstone mountains, route to the top of mountain 517, around point 15.95000oN, 108.52542oE, alt. 480 m a.s.l.
Lithophytic perennial herb, creeping rhizome up to 20 cm long, deep olive green tinged by pale silvery white paths and silvery white veins on adaxial leaf surface; abaxially brown-red leaves; growing on rocks in shaded and humid areas on steep slopes of mountains, elevation above 300 m a.s.l., locally common.
