Dien Bien Prov., Muong Nhe Distr., Muong Nhe Natural Reserve, Leng Su SinMunicipality, A Suoi Voi Village around point about N22º20’16’’ E102º21’35”.
Secondary evergreen broad-leaved lowland and submontane forest on mountainstream slopes composed with sandstone at elevations 500–600 m a.s.l.
Terrestrial herb in shady place along stream valley. Flowers yellowish mottled with red. Not common.
