Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed forest on solid crystalline highly eroded limestone mountains at elev. about 1000-1100 m a.s.l.
Rosulate lithophyte on crevices of vertical shady cliff near top of mountain. Flowers deep blue. Locally very common.
