1965, Yunnan Redai Yaredai Zhiwu Quxi Yanjiu Baogao (Rep. Stud. Pl. Trop. Subtrop. Yunnan). 1: 10.

Dien Bien Prov., Muong Nhe Distr., Muong Nhe Natural Reserve, Leng Su Sin Municipality, A Suoi Voi Village around point about N22º20’16’’ E102º21’35”. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved lowland and submontane forest on mountain slopes composed with sandstone at elevations 500–600 m a.s.l. Tree 5-6 m tall with pendulous shoots in open rocky place along stream. Flowers white, calyx grassy green. Rare.
