Dien Bien Prov., Muong Nhe Distr., Muong Nhe Natural Reserve, Leng Su Sin Municipality, A Suoi Voi Village around point about N22º20’16’’ E102º21’35”. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved lowland and submontane forest on mountain stream slopes composed with sandstone at elevations 500–600 m a.s.l. Shrub 2-3 m tall along rocky stream valley. Flowers white, calyx violet. Occasional.
