Old humid secondary evergreen broad-leaved submontane forest of steep mountain slopes composed with sandstone at elevations 750–820 m a.s.l. along small stream. Clustering epiphyte on tall tree along stream. Flowers white with pink tint, lip with two purple violet spots. Occasional. Widely collected as an ornamental plant for cultivation and sale.
