Old humid secondary evergreen broad-leaved montane forest of very steep mountain slopes composed with sandstone at elevations 1800–1850 m a.s.l. Wild collected cultivated plant. Epiphyte on tall trees. Sepals and petals white with violet tint, lip purple vio;let with dark violet venter. Not common.
